Silver Dollar City

After a week apart, Bryan decided we needed a little family bonding time. So we went to Silver Dollar City to get Mama some of that greasy goolash, get Daddy some barbeque and frozen lemonade, and to let Dominic experience his first "ride". Well, Dom didn't quite take to the leaping frog ride. . .






He didn't care much more for the flying butterfly . . .


But it got better . . .

Everyone's Doing It . . .

So everyone has a blog these days - we might as well start one, too! We'll just have to see whether I can keep this up.

Dominic and I just returned from a trip to Georgia to visit the Sizemore gang. We didn't get to see everyone, but we had a great spring break!

Dominic is not only walking, but jogging, kicking and climbing everything. He says Mama and Da-da; Daisy and "Ti-tee" (Tippy). He points out anything that looks like a baby and says "bay-beeeee". He asks for cheese and "ka-kers" by name and uses a combination of licking his lips, "mmmmmm" and "muh" to ask for another bite. He has also learned to give kisses on the cheek -- then he learned to say "no-no" when he doesn't feel like giving a kiss. Today he walked up to a playmate, took his toy and said "mine"!! It's already begun!
